So I appear to have gravely offended some inmate here — or recent political developments are reproducing here. This past month, I’ve had 6 false allegations charged, all disproven, though I dread the hypersurveillance it exposes me to. To demonstrate how far weaponized the reporting system here has been, here’s some examples: because I was “happy and laughing too loud” someone claimed “I must have raped someone”; because I braided someone’s hair (allowed in here), “I must have…” because “I showered” “I must have…” Seeing a pattern?
Trans panic is real and really affects my day-to-day. Police are police, and “suspicion” is cause to investigate and investigate, and… but what is suspicion? For trans people, DoC appears innately suspicious of our day-to-day life. And, more so or greater, the large base of transphobic inmates as well (what’s the corollary of colorblind racism to transphobia? genderblind?).
So I fathom I will be “investigated” for the next 4years here — or, it’ll all stop once I have a coochie.
I’ve been approved for electrolysis, the last stage pre-op. I’ve also had sperm storage approved — no one else in custody has. So, I’ll be doing 3-4months w/o HRT pre-op to produce some sperm — tie that into the above, and I’m sure DoC will be passing out pregnancy tests like candy, “just to be sure”.
I have one requirement left to graduate, offered in the fall. I’m looking into graduate school. Any hookups in your philosophy faculty? I’ll need to cram a 1st year of PAL requirements into whatever program I get into — “Liberal Studies” — but I did get a BA in prison ^_^. UofO, anyone?
Porque quiero practicar Español, necesite amiges a esribir en Español.
Por favor? I likely need second language proficiency for graduate school — and I’d like practice.Until next time,
